How rust free do the parts need to be to be ceramic coated? I have my used exhaust with some surface rust on it, and really should get it coated to help preserve it and keep the heat into the pipe and not going up into the engine.

It will get sand blasted or bead blasted before they coat it. They do all our valves, rods, pistons and springs etc. When the parts are brand new they wash em the coat em, but every set of headers they do for us are blasted.

(well get the old man to take it off and take it over for me.... the joys of living 10,000km away from the car!)
I have had most of my engine cermaic coated, piston crowns, skirts, valves etc etc. Not sure who leon uses, but being so close, I would assume it would be him.

Prolly just other shops are ripoffs 馃憤
These guys get stuff sent to them from all around the country....quality counts, and is affordable, just need to find it.
