VW themed letter boxes - any pics?

just had a thought, it would be a hoot to have a kombi styled letter box with the letters going in a safari windscreen front flap arrangement, and the back end would be for retirieving letters through a barn-door tailgate flap.

Anybody seen or made anything like this?

Or is this just my volkswagenitis flaring up again.... gotta remember to take my pillls...

they would be good but wouldn't last long before some little shit stole it.

A good post for your letter box is a crank shaft but not a vw one as it's not big enough.

VW Crankshafts can be used for short posties.. lol

actually in Scone there are a couple of post boxes that I have seen [while walking My dogs] that are only about the height of a vw crankshaft plus the postie has to lean over the fence...lol

We've got a Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 crank mounted on the wall at Adelaide uni, it would make an absolutely cracking stand for something but you'd have to keep it inside, perhaps a glass-topped hall table? A magnificent piece of history.
