GRAND OPENING
It is my pleasure to announce a once in a life time even!! For us anyway… :P The RAW AUTO WERKS Grand Opening!!! On the 5th of June 2010 RAW AUTO WERKS will be holding a grand opening party. The event will commence at 4:30pm and go until late. Sausage sizzle and some drinks will be provided but for those who are looking to get a little more under the influence it will be BYO. There will be a big photo shoot of all vehicles in attendance at 7pm, a range of fun activities, a DJ and a promise of like-minded good company for all. A free commemorative sticker will be presented to all guests. Small Trophies will be presented for seven (7) categories:
1. Best presented daily driver
2. Crazy Custom
3. Stock as a rock
4. People’s Choice
5. Wild Cam-shaft Shot-put
6. Toughest Street Registered
7. Radical Race car (Drag or Circuit)
We hope that all of you will be able to attend, with your street cars, race cars, hotrods and choppers, have a fantastic evening and show support for Adam Pawlowski, Mike Waldron and their new workshop.

I cant believe it i have a 50th to attend to that night but i can go for a couple of hours. might have to leave Rosie with you Adam for the photo although 7 is going to be pretty dark for a group shot

Dub or not dude, doesnt matter... we are not just doing VWs, we do anything pre 70's-ish... so anything old and cool is more than welcome... mike has been into vw's all his life and i have been into them for bout 7 yrs, but my background has been holdens and chevs... or basically anything fast enough to do something stupid in... hahaha

Had a great afternoon at the official opening of Raw Auto Werks. Adam and Mick put on a great evening and I'd like to thank them for there hospitality. There were quite a few VW's as well as a few other restored vehicle there to celebrate the opening. Here are a few photos of the evening.

thankyou so much Paul, was a brilliant night and im very grateful for everyone who made the effort to turn up, was a great turn out and Mike and I have made a decision to make this an annual thing, so from now on, first weekend of june will be the RAW Auto Werks car show/get together... hopefully we can make it bigger and better every year and possibly incorporate a cruise.... again thanks for everyone that came out and supported us... cheers adam

Adam that's great news about the annual shpw maybe next year I can stay the whole night lol, it was an excellent turnout and it was great meeting everyone.

My mates a4 got sandwiched on the m4 yesterday arvo had to go rescue his 20s with my bora stockers so im really disapointed i missed out. Some good cars there

Yes it was a good night. Cars, beers, bbq and heaps of bench racing not to mention no bullshit, great just to hang out. Everyone there was doing it and not talking about it.

thanks I have a Pentax K7 with a sigma 10 to 20 mm wide angle zoom. Problem is i didnt bring my standard lens so couldnt shoot those who attended as the flash with the wide angle zoom doesnt cover the shot.

just would like to mention, no date set yet, but mike and i are thinking we will do this as an annual thing, more of a show than a grand opening.... also thinking to make it earlier in the year, so that its day-light longer and warmer..... let me know what u guys think, also when you would like to see it happening.... im thinking march.... generally a boring month :P cheers adam RAW
