Irwindale (USA) 1/8th mile test n tune vids

G'day folks,

Just back to the hotel after another evening filled with fast vw's at the Irwindale 1/8th mile track.

I'll try and get a few vids up before hitting the hay - Nicks Diner tomorrow night, then OCTO Saturday, then the Classic Sunday.....for anyone that hasn't done this trip, its well worth saving the pennies to get a massive vw hit...will be hard to come down after this one!

Shawn Geers car (don't think Shawn was driving?) nice wheelie off the line. Smoke at top end but not sure if engine was damaged - Rod Penrose (who was there) probably knows the story so might fill in the details.

Hector Urias ran 5.75 @ 124.80

Richie Webb pleasing the crowds as usual! 6.39 @ 108.68.

Blue manx 6.23 @ 109.51 run:

Roger Crawford in Super Street setup ran 6.34 @ 106.58

Single cab with turbo type I ran 7.53 @ 96.6

It's a great trip mate. I'd say I will be back next year (hopefully) maybe on a 'blokes trip', then with the family again the following year (if all goes to plan!). I'm hooked now 🙂
