VW Classic 2010 pics

What a show! Had a huge day today checking out some very cool cars at the VW Classic at Irvine. Cars start lining up to get in well before 6am and by 8am the line up was massive backed probably around 2 miles! Swap meet wasn't as big as last year but still some cool stuff around, no big bargains for me but I did get there a little late.

I got a little weak at the knees for this custom built T3 dual cab - more than 400 hours of welding according to the owner and super straight body work - they are still ugly but I love em 🙂

This bus had some amazing air brushing - all the 'bumper stickers' on the back were all painted!












There were more IDA's and Fuchs at the show than there were fast food outlets in LA (ie. thousands!)

Massive numbers of beautiful cars, but the KG on stilts has to be my favourite, just becuase it is so outside the norm. Can you imagine the looks you'd get from people as you drove down the street 😵‍💫

how was the toy n literature show

Dave I didn't get a chance to go to the toy and literature show this year as after OCTO I went out with a few of the US guys for beers. Was okay last year but I couldn't afford any of the desirable/rare parts anyway so didn't place a high priority on it this year 🙂
