i put mine on the outside to get the toe-in i want, and then fune tune with the spring plate slots,
but i am sure you can put them on the other side if you want to get toe-out.

i only want to know so i can set the depth of the bracket properly ,thats all...
aussie dubbin,,,its not that expensive,, just find yourself a irs type 3 rear end,i bought the brackets though, couldnt be forked cutting the one s off the t3 rear end... rear end cost me $70,$40 for sandblastin,$120 or so for bearing , seals, torsion bar bushes etc,and a mates got the welder and the jigs...

Every car I've seen has always had washer one inside and one outside... but would assume it depends on how the jig was made up ??? (assuming it's one that mounts solidly either to the trans mount or to the spring plate cover bolts)
btw - if you ran both washers on either the inside or the outside... wouldn't the bush grab on the edge and possibly fail prematurely ???
vlad01 ·
do you use a trailing arm as a jig?
vlad01 ·
never mind i got it now.

the jig mounts to the spring plate section, and was made up off a t3 rear end...i just had to re cut and weld it as it wasnt quite spot on at the bracket end...
sides, from what i can see, is the inside would just sit hard up on the inside of the bracket "which is flat" and the washers would be tightened hard up to the the bush on the other side by the bolt....
just a lill confused as i saw one with both washers on one side...want to be sure so i dont weld everything in, and then,ah oh...

Chris, both washers go on the outside............as per factory👍
