Just got a new job too,not game to ask......"hey um....theres this veedub thing on in NSW and......yeah as if I'm going to even bother.
I went in 1995 so it looks like 2005 is my year.I'd say the forum will be as quiet as grocery shopping at Coles was tonight as most of QLD was watching state of origin.:cry

I'll be at Valla-Nambucca, I booked My Motel room in January.... Many people take their holidays or at least a week or two of their holidays, and take the kids and the Wife even.... I cant make it, Ill be in Broken Hill, half way to the Border Run, at border village, I dare say there will be a few piccys posted on the forum after Valla, so I will have to make do with these, BUT NEXT TIME, I will be there, no risk!

at this rate there will be three people at Valla - An organiser, a mayor and someone with crowd across the back of their shirt!

Hopefully I wont be here - If I have to go to Sydney then after I finish with the workshop I'll catch a train up the coast and get my wife to meet me there.

🙁 I'm a no go too. Best mates bub's christening on the Sunday. I might think very hard about driving up on the Friday just for the Saturday convoy, and then drive back on Saturday arvo.

If not.....maybe we should try and organise a BBQ on the Sunday afternoon somewhere [this is for the Sydneyites....].

I have heaps of money, my wife is happy for me to go, thebuggy engine is primmed and ready to rock. Only thing stopping me is the many thousand km's of water between me and Australia. Oh well we all need a good excuse to miss the biggest VW event in Australia...

Will be recovering from a knee operation....to far to drive on PANADOL Forte......would be a bloody legend to make it (and a Bloody idiot to try). So no Valla for this VW Luva......and another year goes by without getting there!

There are Many VeeDubbers coming from Victoria & Queensland for the BIG VW Spectacular... I have been reminding people since early in the year... to plan... to save... and many have done just that..... I'm Just sad that I'm going but My beloved 68AutoBug can't make it.... Sydney people get too used to driving a short distance to VW shows... I am over 300kms from Sydney and I have to drive 100kms just to get to the Pacific Highway.... Some of Us want to go.... and others.... well...:cry
