another shitty day in Paradise AGAIN

Mmmm...call me what you like, but racing an open wheeler in the wet in winter does not rank high on my list of favourite things. Did an Fvee championship race a month ago at Warwick in pouring rain and I lost feeling to my fingers by lap 3!!

That does it....if it's going to rain, I'm not going.....yeah right!!!

why does it matter if it rains as we're all still going to go aren't we. 😂😂

If it rains just means more entertainment on the track for us spectators to watch.

Rained on and off at work today Matt. Got a few heavier falls earlier tonight as well. I know Troy was devising a plan to keep the engine in the Fasty dry for it's trailer ride to Valla. Just a shame to get it dirty after all the hours put in to get it clean plus my cousin is driving his freshly resotred 56 bus down which is just as clean underneath as it is on top......

Oh well, dry I heard on the nth side, Troys will be right but feel sorry for the detailed splitty......man all the work that goes into getting a car ready for Valla, and then do a major clean again when you get there.......not for me this year....🙂

mind you I have a repair in Briss to do now on the way through !!! DOH....leaving at 5.30 now 🙂

Kombi box is fixed & is a runner, so me & the girl (Marlene) are there for sure

took me just under an hour to fit,,, getting pretty damn quick at fitting V8 kombi g-boxes these days :-)

I gave it a pretty good thrashing this arvo (after it was all warm & mildly driven for a good couple of hours) ,,,, & i was a happy Camper

but its very light showers today Wednesday... in SCONE..
