Hi

I've always wondered, why do they call them ambulance fans?

TICK ·

what year buss are they out of

helbus ·

Our bus, and nearly every bus I have pulled parts out of have all had fresh air fans. They have all been 1975 onwards 8 seater busses

They are not ambulance fans ambo fans are from splitscreens not bay windows and are in the overhead cabin vent .They supplied air flow to th rear cabin. For some reason someone started selling these vent fans as Ambo fans but as helbus said they are standard in late bays and are fresh air not ambulance fans.

Very late microbuses (like 78/79) didn't have them because they were not locally assembled.
