swap meet fetishes

hi all whats the go with the following.

1.you are in a swap meet.
2.you walk up to the table/ stand/ parts laid out.
3.you pick a part.
4.you stroke it, hug it, fondle it and love it to death
5.you then ask how much they are after
6.you return the item to the table quickly saying that you will be back later or think about it
7. you return an hour later
8. repeat steps 4 to 7


does the number of times you stroke the item magicly reduce the price greatly and if so why has no one told me this? because i might try it down at the local super market if so!
or is it just so they can bond with the item???

I think fondling makes it go up, not down,......... or am I confusing it with something else.❓
