SO, HOW DID YOU LIKE VALLA - NAMBUCCA VW SPECTACULAR THIS YEAR???

ITS THE BEST I CAN REMEMBER..

ESPECIALLY SATURDAY....
MUCH BETTER THAN USUAL...

I have attended every Volkswagen Spectacular (even the first one which was a one day event at the race track - although no racing), and I reckon it was the best so far (I am sure it was the biggest anyway).
I was a bit worried when the racing was going to be over before the weekend, but while I was sorry to miss the racing, I reckon the Saturday afternoon at Valla was much better. Had a good chance to catch up with a lot of people, and the swap meet certainly seemed to benifit from it.

Best swap meet I can remember especially on the Saturday...

didn't get to see everything as I was talking to too many people
lol..

First time I've been there late on the sunday afternoon

Can't wait til the next one....

Maybe will try Sawtell next year too....??

It was my first time, but definitely wont be my last. Its given me more incentive to finish my '57 project for 2012 - funds permitting of course 😊

Oh yes, we were partying hard at Luft headquarters, best camp site ever! Mmmm can still taste the oysters kilpatrick, now that's camping!!!!

Well the event was very good ,as car numbers were very high . Vintage type of cars never get very high ( split beetle , ghia's , et ) Maybe something to look into !
The biggest let down was FOOD Prices , I always thought Rotary club prices were fair but not at this event . No , coffee for sale too . What happened there , as people were talking about it and driving down the road for counter launch .
Never enough time to talk ,good to see vw friends that I havn't seen for years , as week-end passes by to quick too.

I never saw any coffee either...
and the sausage sandwiches were delicious...lol
both days...
and not expensive.. IMHO..

and no coke on the Sunday... fellow said He forgot to get it..

coffee truck would have been great..

Saturday and Sundays were great...
