have been thinking about some new rims and just can decide between the empi five spoke and the american eagle five spoke

When i picked up my American Eagle 8 spoke last week Rod had some 5 spokes. I can't comment about the Empi but the quality of my american eagles are excellent

it was a misunderstanding between two people and others have jumped on the band wagon.

You know what. They are Different wheels, and if you did some research you would know the differnce. Empi ones have "original" style centre caps that screw on, and the american Eagle ones have a push in centre cap with no screws. Now, it might not be a huge issue for you what style cap it has, but there are others that want the original style. I would think, that is why Rod Put the different adds up, as they are not the same wheel....
So barls, Which style you gonna buy...Rods got both styles!

The American Eagles used to bea better casting
dont know these days probally made in the same chinese factory
I know thw EMPI carbies had lots of porisity in the early days and used to leak

Barls,as a sponsor AND a moderator,how about you stop stirring the pot.........and I'd go the American Eagles.Rod has some for sale at a good price.
