hey guys ive got a squareback 1600 70's and has not brakes.
im new to vw and not sure on where everything is.
what is the best way to access the brake master cyclinder and blead the breaks

Well, there should be a remote reservoir bottle for the brake master cylinder on the passenger side of the front luggage compartment. The master cylinder itself is down on the floor, and usually accessed by taking the front right-hand wheel off.

there are bleeding nipples for each slave cylinder at the top and behind each brake drum plate

good info there...

master cylinder is behind the brake pedal underneath the car..
check all wheels for brake fluid leakage..

also check the master cylinder for leaks...
