got a late type3(with 4 stud pattern wheels)...gotta replace front disc brakes and rear drums (maybe convert rear to disc also)...And would prefer to run Porche fuches rims or empi 5 spoke rims with 5 stud pattern...Can i easily convert to 5x130 stud pattern with new brake kits or is it more complex than that???? Anyone know???

what you need is a set of discs and drums drilled in your desired pattern. ive done this with my super to get the porsche pattern.
you can buy them blank then drill to the desired patten

Some countries had 5 stud wide pattern wheels on most of the VWs....

even German standard Beetles in the 70s..

You cannot redrill brake drums as they are too thin in between the holes....

New discs and drums are the same thickness and can be drilled to any pattern...

John Sherman in QLD sells them...

in VWA magazine
