Hey 🙂

any dings in the front bumper? by the looks of it, got far less rust on the inside and probably be a better candidate for re chroming than mine.
Can you take a pic of the inside section of the front bumper? If I like it I might be able to get a friend that lives 10 min away from you to get it, they are coming Monday to my place for a visit.

haha that will work out great 😀

And Comrade38, right back at ya.

hi dan do you have a good dash pad, thanks barrie

05bjp90 · 30 Oct 2010, 9:09 am

I presume that was meant for me and sorry mate, cant help ya on a dash pad.

Ive got three but they all have cracks.

Your best bet and probably only chance of ever having a good dash pad in your type 3 is by getting it re-trimmed.

It costs around 300ish and most re-trimming places will do it. Something tells me thats a lot cheaper than what someone would charge for a perfect condition OG dash pad anyway.

Cheers,
Ben

vlad01 · 28 Nov 2010, 6:12 pm

vlad01 wrote:just buy a new one.

Do you know who has em new? and I need an installer as I have the chrome trim and know that I will screw it up if I do it myself

vlad01 · 28 Nov 2010, 7:11 pm

most windscreen places have or can order them. they will be laminated as well.

the old glass is illegal now anyway and even a single chip will not pass road worthy in vic.

Victoria is the worst state for pickyness on windscreens

scot70wagon · 29 Nov 2010, 6:28 am

still chasing those seat belts. cheers scot 0414 881 084

05bjp90 · 29 Nov 2010, 9:39 am

Megalania: i havent checked the windscreen yet, but i doubt it would be roadworthy. probably only ideal for a mock-up install or something similar.

Scot70wagon: I sent you a pm back a while ago re:seatbelts. PM me with address details and i will chase up postage quote.

Thanks for the interest guys. Still got a few parts up for sale pm or comment here if keen.

Cheers
