Not sure if this is the right spot for this question.
But; can you still buy Paper element airfilters with the warm air bypass?
I have only seen version available without the bypass attached?
Cheers

I don't think anyone is making the carbed ones with the preheat valve
The ones with no preheat are from the mexican injected 1600i engines

I currently run a paper element air cleaner with a warm air bypass on my '68 1500. Had to weld a vacuum take off on to the inlet manifold to operate it but it works fine. Probably no help to you though as I bought the filter housing from a wrecker years ago. Don't even know what year bug it was off. Probably worth putting a wanted add in the Buying, Selling and Swapping section

maybe I have the wrong idea of what you men by the bypass , but I bought one like that in the photo from CIP1.com in the last year
also got a supply of paper elements
I blocked the outlet that's at the front bottom right in the picture as I had no outlet to hook up
cheers

that yellow tube is a preheater....
air cleaner came with a paper air element on the top...
a ryco...
I'm using an oil bath top...
there used to be some sort of thermostat attachment at the back to open & close one of the flaps to direct hot air in or out..

thats right lee,
the earlier ones were run off the thermostat under the engine andw were cable operated when the usually missing flaps on the fan shroud moved.
The later paper types ran off vacuum from the manifold and when warm would close over to stop warm are running in;
