Help with syncros

Have bitten the bullet and pulled the gearbox of my daughters 71 Super beetle as it was grinding from 2-3 and vice virsa.

No trouble getting apart as had good ref material.

syncro 3 & 4 no trouble. But the syncro I was sent for 2nd won't fit as internal diameter is too small and looks exactly like syncro for 3&4th, also the syncro for 1st has teeth all the way round it. But the one in the gearbox doesn't.

The gearbox is an AH series the syncros I receieved were
1st 113-311-269-A
2nd 113-311-269-B
3&4 th 113-311-295-D

Any advice would be appreciated

Those part numbers are correct but the parts dont fit.
(Prob incorrectly packaged)

The 113 311 269 B can be used on both first and second.

Pre 66 (or there abouts) boxes used the 295D on second also,
but your box is a later one and so needs the 269B.
