Here's something I knocked together for a friends birthday present. She's really into photography.
It's just some bits of scrap I got out of the bin at work.
Has/does anyone else make anything like this? Throw up some pictures of the stuff you've welded scrap into.

When I buy a house I think I'll make all the furniture myself out of VW parts.

Here's another one that I did over the last few days.
It's an electric guitar, I used MIG wire for the strings.
I also made a stand for it to sit in. Completely out of bolts.
And what metal guitar is complete without a checkerplate pick?
Enjoy!

It only took me a few hours!

I did wonder how you managed to get the mig wire to stay straight. You must have had the AMPS right down?馃槀

yup you have to much time on your hands LOL
great work !
i used to be a big fan of lost and back few years ago when i had to much time on my hands LMAO
i made this up of 20 x 2 mm flat bar then the smaller bits i cut the 20 mm in half 7 ply backing welded the threads to the back of the 20mm so you carn't see how it's holding on then out of 2mm flat plate i cut the bug out then filled it into shape
it used to be out side my old shed and it looked like you need a secret hand shake to get in LMAO
now it's inside my new shed
