WTB: Type 1 fuel tap

Hi,

Looking for working ideally german vw fuel tap with metal sock/ screen/ tank filter for my beach buggy. Tank is from a 68 1500 beetle.

Buggy is in SA and I'm in vic so can post to either or whatever ever is cheapest.

Easy to get new, perhap try at a local vw repairshop/ parts supplier

68 was first 1500 beetle
the set up stopped in 61 when electr fuel guages came in

but could fit most tanks
i have a handle if u get stuck

68 tanks didnt have a fuel TAP as such they just had a gravity drain and filter

Hi,
I have a very good fuel valve and handle in perfect condition that i removed from my 60 model,i would swap it for a 67 number plate light complete for my manx
