Some pics of vw drags Portland 2011

We had a good weekend @ Portland the rain stopped long enough to have some good vw racing,Rose won fastest female and came 2nd in the finals.

Looks like good Victorian weather - four seasons in one day!

Hmm, it looks like the red paint on Rose's oval has faded a bit.

nope that's the 1954 oval we got off of C T Hansen before xmas it had been Secret Squirrel stuff until Portland , It had already had the paint taken off and had been sitting for a few year's and was all rusty brown when we got it, so I spent 20 hours cleaning all the rust off and just put a clear coat over him.
got all the running gear working and put a 1916 motor in him and whamo instant race car. 🤪😂🤪
