I am wondering if there is such a thing a a brand new engine for a beetle

1776cc + up to 1914/1916cc

I have found a few sites in the US that sell second hand cases etc with all new parts and thats what it seems to be from some people I have spoken to here as well.

Am i being naive to think that you can get a brand new turn key engine is Australia or any where in the world
?

Any advice welcome.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for that

I have tried Classic - he only has reco cases not brand new ones,

A little worried about a reco case as I had a 1835 before and the crank case cracked due to being old and the back firing that was going on.

As Lee said, you can get them from all the above places.

Just to clarify, YES you can buy a brand new engine case still and different types/brands and it all comes down to $$$$$$
