Howdy. Heading back to Oz tomorrow so thought I'd post up some pics from the crazy week that climaxes at the VW Classic including some from the lead up events/open houses etc.
First up we were lucky to go to Rich Kimball's place for a pre-classic bbq (cooked by Hot Dog Fred - he is the one that Chip Foose did the samba for).

Friday night was Nick's Burgers gathering - a good preview of what is to come over the weekend.
VW powered helicopter in the back of a single cab (general consensus was you'd have to be crazy to fly anything than a metre above the ground in this thing!)

OCTO is a splitty only show at Anaheim with around 300-400 splits of every possible model you could imagine.

Haha....as much as I enjoy visiting there, I couldn't live there. I enjoy life here too much 🙂
