Can you clarify "German turn signal lever". Early ones have dried up a bit but could most likely pick up a good second hand one from Type 3 Detectives in the UK next month for you.

Post a pic of the type you want.

Is your car a 64 import or Australian production? The indicator arm is different. Type 3 Detectives have the German production "up to 67" ones "used" for about 65 quid. These don't fit the Australian produced Type 3s.

Were these different to Beetle indicator arm assemblies?

Maybe one off a 1300 Bug if the headlight dipper switch was on the end of the indicator arm.
