new 6v radios???

im having a bit of a mind melt down..

I cant recall whether I seen an add for new replica 6v radios for beetles n busses etc.. Or whether ive just had a really weird dream..

Anyone able to shed some light on whether these radios exist or not..

Like this?

these are a 12 volt radio so you will need to get some electronic jiggery to boost 6v to 12v to power it. I'm sure I've seen something similar that runs on 6v.... on "the Samba" maybe?

Matt.

looks close to what i was thinking..
