Does anyone know whether the Beetle Wreckers double cab Bay kombi still exists?
It was built I think late 80's.
It had a mid mount Toyota V8, auto box and Ford 9'' rear end.
I would like to find it and perhaps own it again.

I remember that dual cab but have no idea where it may be, but I do know Matt (Miniman on here) has a rear engine Lexus v8 powered dual cab for sale.

...if the gearbox is currently in 1 piece. 😂

I believe since DB worked his magic with the Albins gears, it's been nice and reliable.

fancy that eh. I almost don't believe it. Which is more hardcore, DB's trans skills or Matt's right foot. ❓

As a friend said to me years back....

Stupid is stronger than axles.
