I am in my 50's and these contraptions have come and gone ever since I was a kid. The Melourne based Pritchard steam engine was one concept in the late 60's.
What do you guys think of this one? will we all be driving around with a 2 litre bottle of water under the bonnet?

there is a reason that these have not solved our energy crisis. you either have to charge your battery with coal fired power station energy (often!!) or use the cars alternator pulling huge loads = energy.
plus a jam jar and fish tank hose just is not safe! ie japan nuclear power station blast was hydrogen from cooling water..... (or a local with a type 3 and hydrogen gen!!)
