beetle fuel tanks...once vented and safe can the tanks be powdercoated?.I was wondering if they are pressed together, fusion welded or glued together at the seam.I did a search but mainly got topics about POR resto kits..Thanks in advance..Jason.

they are seam spot welded together
Wash it out with soap and water then blast and powder coat
