Hi everyone,

I know this sort of post will annoy a lot of people but I thought it'd be worth it, just so i save money on shipping

I'm after the tools to fill this tool kit I recently acquired

Now I know I could buy all the tools New old stock for $200 each on eBay, but I can't afford anything like that, I'm after any Hazet tool for this kit, no matter what the condition.

any info on where i can find the tools is also greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

YIKES

I believe filling that will cost You $$$$$

I've never ever seen an empty kit??

and the full ones usually have two armed guards... lol

Fishynos72 ·

I've seen the guards too, they're put there by the insurance companies

vw54 ·

yr best bet is Ebay or Samba

Ive seen all the tools come up at one stage or another BUT it will cost you

Probally better off buying a complete box on Samba when they come up and re selling the one above

Fishynos72 ·

Yeah I've been watching both like a hawk 🥷, I just thought I'd ask if anyone locally had some. The samba is and expensive place, it pays to make friends with the sellers first 😵‍💫

heres some links to the tools you need

as i said before it may work out cheaper to buy a complete box by the prices above

Fishynos72 ·

Thanks for the links, but like i said that stuff is way out of my price range. I'm more than happy to settle for fakes/copies of the tools until I win the lotto

vw54 ·

u will PAY the same price

I have done this before

BUGBOY ·

I have a spare wheel brace.

Fishynos72 ·

A pm will be comming your way!

btw are you on the samba with the 48 standard beetle?

vlad01 ·

mmmm? I don't get it? why are they so expensive for what looks like children's tools? collectables?

Fishynos72 ·

they're very good quality and quite sought after, crazy collectors drive the cost up

vw54 ·

you should have been buying them 10 or more years ago TWICE the price they are today

Fishynos72 ·

yeah? i wouldn't have thought so, i thought you'd be able to pick them up at markets for cheap, thrown in amongst the other spanners

flying 58 ·

Don't give up hope
I picked up at least half a kits worth of tools for less than 20 bucks
Less than a month ago
Bottom of a box and the guy had no idea
They are still out there keep looking

vw54 ·

wouldn't have thought so, i thought you'd be able to pick them up at markets for cheap,
yeah ive been looking in MARKETS for the past 30 or so years aint found one yet

Fishynos72 ·

Hmm, o well i suppose it doesn't hurt to look, there are plenty of stories of people getting complete kits for $50 because someone didn't know what they are worth

Volksdaze ·

most of the tools are still available brand new

vw54 ·

most of the tools are still available brand new
I dont think HAZET has a distributor in Australia, they used to as i purchase some items

Some of the tools are similar but still different
