has anyone supercharged and turbocharged a vw engine ?

i heard or cars having turbochargers and others been supercharged

but has anyone done both to a vw ? always wanted to know if its been done and how powerful is it?

Vw has. The 1.4 TSI engine used in e.g. the Polo GTI is both supercharged and turbocharged.

Perhaps you are referring to an air-cooled engine?

i read an article about the polo gti last night but yes i was thinking of an aircooled vw thanks modulus
