Talk to VVDS in Sydney 02-9789-1777 as they need to be reamed to correct sizes

thanks for the replies, i have already had it done i was asking so i could check against the price i paid. i supplied the new king pins the drop spindals.[ they supplied shims separately for when i assemble it onto the car] they supplied the actual carriers that the king pins are pressed into.

How much were they? Just to give an indication of cost to others!

Once done move on, if you are happy that's all that counts now, the $ are gone but the smile lives on. 😁

I'm looking at getting the same thing done - where would one look to get them reamed and pressed etc?? A general mechanic or suspension joint?

bummer, I paid 300 each to get mine done (without new shimms mine you) and they are junk 2 years later 😠
So theres an indication anyways

unfortunatly its a LABOUR intensive process
and i would suspect at least over $300
+ plus the kits are getting harder to purchase Kombi ones are even worse

Exchange should be around $200-250 with German parts, plus the carriers you wanted supplied which $100 or so would be reasonable......if it was a good job, you should be happy IMO.
