And Ben needs all the help he can get to beat the queenslanders! 😁

there are some veedubbers coming from QLD & VIC so come on NSW veedubbers we hope to see a few of you supporting this NSW VWMA Sydney event 😵

and yeah help Ben beat the queenslanders 😂

i won the First VW Nationals Drag event in my 36 hp Bug in 1990

beat the LEDGEND Stan #$^%$ in his open wheeler

You DONT have to be FAST just consistant

From looking at my time cards i did a 13.5 seconds for the 1/8 mile
and that car does a masive 22.5 for the 1/4 mile

SO LOOK O U T

What about cars from other state's Vic , SA . Any one heard anything .

I would love to be at the event representing NSW - but I fly out to Germany for work that day (Bummer)

well as Craig said one of the first to enter was Steve Craven which is one of the Mexicans from Melbourne so I think all of them would be coming along as they always come along

I was trying to keep that one a secret Ian!!!!!!!!!!

Just good to see old dubs still hammering down the drag strip!! A lot of people don't realise how much the bug played a role in drag racing all over the world.

ill pop down 🙂 bit scared to run a 1/4 mile in the current state of braking.. any 1/8 mile runs on sat?

you dont need brakes!!!!! Have a run anyway. I only use rear drums to pull me up from 109mph with no dramas.

Loved to have been there but have to work today and tomorrow. Weather in brisvegas is not good ATM with somewhere between 100-200mm of rain predicted in the next 24-48 hours. Not good if you run a car wash so I could have gone cause it ain't going to be busy at work damn it!!!
