well donn you could take a drive to port stephens and visit the brewery, its a nice place great food and the staff are wonderful.
other than that its in coles, woolies and first choice.
im also fairly sure if you go to warners on the bay ( its a bottle shop up in newcastle im told) you can get it there as well as some of the rest of the range

had the mac red, its changed. it was great a few years ago but the new recipe is a shadow of the former one.
the steam exchange ipa is a bit hard to get up here but ill try.

if you can get your hands on them ether 8wired, emersons, epic from nz are good as well.
this is making me want anzac day to come quicker as im heading over to auckland to visit the sister in law over there.

ive had the black duck they are great as well, much better than the little brewing company in port.

other than that theres potters in the hunter valley that are always good for a visit. tell the peoples in the brewery i told you about the place, i know the head brewer there quite well.
looking forward to beervana in auckland in august and the great australian beer spectacular in may.
just poured one of my english bitters.

these micro brewers are poping up everywhere and i like it love big beers with a full body! bridge road brewers in beechworth makes a great porter, the other local brewer closed up but it was shit anyway!

Anyone here tried Great Northern?

its a relatively new brewed down the road from me (Yatala).
Tastes great! very crisp, refreshing and full bodied. Just that right amount of bitter to prove its not lolly water and not stubborn enough to drag on like the flavour of a stout (although there is nothing wrong with a good stout!)

Alot of people like the coronas but i never was a fan because i personally thought it didn't have that strong flavour hit and was like make love in a canoe. Fell in love quick with great northern though.

exactly the one. got a bit of it to get through. its big on the nose but the bitterness could be higher compared to other ipas. murrays sparticus is my all time favourate
my mums on the murrays dark knight, dad will be on the angry man from the same brewery later tonight after he drops the brother home.

I started with a makers mark and schwepps lemonade double stregnth on ice then smashed down two bulimba gold top tinnie chasers before I cooked snapper I caught from my kyak with bacon rashers and this mornings laid eggs.
Not real inventive but easy and tasty.
I once went to the german restaurant near maleny and I drank a large beer which looked like old gear box oil but was 9%alc/vol and numbed my feeble brain perfectly before lunch.
I think a cruise/run to king ludwigs over looking the glasshouse mountains would be perfect some day.
Nothing wrong with great northern Tarin, I like it lots.

Bob,get a hobie from Mal just around the corner from you or go test drive one in the lake across the road from him.
Hands free fishing pedal drive,I go out from Moffats anytime there is no waves and come back with fish every time.
Sunstate Hobie lake macdonald drive but he will be moving to Kawana soon.
Hobie is pricy but the best by a long shot, check out hobie fishing on youtube.
Evolution or Outback models seem to be the go but i have a tandem island family wagon.
You can cover far more ground with pedal drive and not get tired and wet, also you can still use the paddle and have a sail option too.
3 forms of propulsion, it's a no brainer.

WEe ran out of wood to burn at my beer garden so went to csp and hired 2 chainsaws and got to work on a 500 year old gum tree up my oldmans place and filled the ute.

mate seriously if you looked in my fridge there probably would only be one or two companies that you recognise. i love my craft beer hence why i gave up a job in the navy to work in a small craft brewery. the last one of the night ids moneiths doppelbock. its at dans atm, its a brilliant beer and better aged, im drinking 2010 atm. still have 5 stubbies left. its big and malty.
apart from the 5 tap keg fridge i have theres the beer fridge in the front room which has a multitude of different beers in it. ranging from the us and australian craft beers to lovely belgian sours.
ive got a growler of my dawn to dusk(3.5% alcohol) waiting for valla and i hope to dig out a few others. hopefully i get time off find out this week hopefully.
also tried the aldi st what ever it was, typical euro lager complete with the standard off flavours i expect from something thats traveled that many miles.
come and find me ill be the one with a beer in my hand thats not birchell

i look forward to catching up with you mate. look for the old mans pedal cars and i shouldnt be too far away. im happy to influence people to real flavour. if you like sour ill bring something special but its an acquired taste. if not ill just bring ether my homebrew or good craft beer.
there are some really good mail order programs now if you dont have a local good bottlo.
im heading to wellington nz a couple of weekends after valla for a beer show. its awesome. two days of just great beer drinking.

I've found some 10% beer called Quadruple and is hard to drink but found some 8.4 which is doable.
I'm just seeing if there is a happy medium of % to drinkability ratio so therefore less trips to the garden.

Pauly, I will visit one day and night somehow for sampling of fine drinkables.

god i hate the australian pale ale and lager categories.
did manage a 76 out of 100 for my tripel and a similar result on my oude bruin.

Black rats up here are the premix heart burners in a tin from Bundy!! Definitely not as tasty as a square Bear with a coke or ginger ale tickle........ But sometimes after a big day of work, when you get to the self serve drive thru😬 bottle shop a can to get you home is tops👍

Shame Tarin your're not a bit closer as me and you would be inseprable allnighters only 70klms of sand betweenus.
2 weeks ago I surfed the lighthouse again with your mate the stocky semi ranga fella, never seem to catch his name? but tops fella cool as.
He will charge backhand grabrail no fear on big left barrels and get smashed for 3hours.
That day was the best I'd surfed it for years and all of 6 of us were out.
No doubt I will see you soon in person as gigs will collide in the near future....

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM , i built another Tow'd ,drove it accross America ,pulled it apart and have bought it to Australia and am about to put it back together again , so i'vve been a little busy , not to mention am already planning on going back to the USA in july for Big Bear for the 50 th anniversary of Meyers party , oh and have also been working hard on my Australian Tow'dster and the odd bit of panel work on the baja bay .
So Pauly hows that single cab comming along mate !!!!!!!
