Update on Bud, gun metal grey raider mags have been deliveried (cheers H) and have been keeping Matt and Col busy getting it up to scratch. This bug has been a real surprise package and has throwen a few curve balls which i'm lucky to have those two boyz up at Cooroy to smack those curve balls out of the park!

And that has the aussie logo....Yep brought some black n gold tooth brushes and warm soapy water and let the fun begin. I'm glad i went with the twins as it looks heaps better than the single carb. Few stickers on the fan housing, bit of gibbs on the magnesium and he'll look the goods. might have to give that top pulley a bit of fresh paint or can i powder coat it?? Mate if that mudflap happens to get caught on something and rips off i won't mind 馃槈.

Bug now registered 馃憤 and fingers cross will be home this week. Still undecided on year so have sent away to Wolfsburg the numbers and see what they come back with. Its rego'd as a 62 as this is what it was orginally rego as.
So this weekend i'll be down the back in the shed, tunes on cold carton of beer in the fridge and tooth brush and cleaning products scrubbing away.
I promise Matt I'll try not to let the gloss black spray can near it!!!!馃榾

Sure did and spent most of the day washing and spraying fish oil (cat won't leave me alone) until the bloody rain hit. So next weekend i'll jack it up a start the under carriage.

My plans for my 62 is purely clean and preserve,.. She is so original and untouched,.. she is such a time capsule in that respect, we love it that way.

Sweet mate, your bug really is special the missus and i just loved it.
Day didn't go real good today got a problem with Bud missing like a bugger under load. Spent most of the day annoying matt trying to trouble shoot this problem. Maybe carb or maybe electrical one of those testing problems.

If you really look hard enough on the door and the front guard next to the door you can see the factory pin stripe. Some of the panels still have a bit of the white line.
