one of our volksrecycle type 3 contingent working bees, we have done a few of these
You sir are a bad influence... I have a feeling I may need to do some tubbing to get them into my notch though 😉 Due to my forum setting's, you're link didnt work, so I'll quiz you here... where are the wheels from?

G'day fellas, my name is Paolo, was fortunate enough to run into a couple of your crew at the VW nats in Sydney. Andrew and Andrew. Was great to see your Type 3's but there was a clear shortage of them at the show and I went home a bit disappointed. Anyhow, keep turning out the cool cars.

got a working bee at bersks today to sand his beetle then off to jases to hook up with mr skinned knuckles and hook me up some tires so pics to come as a few will be about today

a fellow dubber has his barber shop opening this week in melbourne, theres a coffee shop next door so a saturday run is in order, the plan is too meet up at the salford lads club cnrs of fennel and bridge streets port melbourne at 9.30 am for a catch up and chin wag and to congradulate fab on his new shop, come one come all and tell your dubbing friends

some of the lads were out and about the freezing weekend just gone, ill throw up some pics good to see so many out to help the big fella out, got nothing done due to weather but cool to catch up and shoot the breeze
so if you ever see we are having a meet or heading to an event be sure to say hi or even roll with us

brownie drove over from adelaide and andy drove down from canberra, we had a bbq at my place the day before and on the morning of day off we had two meeting points so that we all could meet up and drive there together, heres pics of our weekend

cheers that why we started a community as there was no type 3 love about and we feel its time
ok so we have had in town from the uk for a couple days, his been staying in sydney with the family for christmas and buzzed down to melbourne to meet us all
so we had a bbq on the day he arrived, the next day we took him around to rogers to check the chop top volksrod his been building as he just got the oval clip in, work is done by skinned knucks, we then went for a cruise to st kilda for lunch then accross to mario gooch for a beard trim and then the rest of the arvo at volksrecycle, a few lads swung bye and then it was beers and rest, this morning fonz also from the uk popped by in his kg to hit up the galleries then matty shaven is swinging by then his off to adams for a ride to the airport, a huge shout out to everyone for making eds couple days here a pleasure and thanks to everyone whos helped out with his transport around the place, huge thanks to adrian for scooping him up first thing sunday to drag him to the bbq

still have a soft spot for my old 66 type 3 now jahlov it is one of those cars you miss great looking car
i will chase down the resto photos and send through as it was 1 very original car

if you do mate can you please send them my way, lewis passed away a couple weeks ago anf his wife is keeping the car, be really cool to make her a little book in his honor, us boys have been given permission to drag it to some shows and it will be at the funeral tomorrow with a bunch of our cars, he had only just had all the work completed and never got to drive it to one of our meets, was super hard seeing the car without him

Hi that is very sad news as I never got to meet lewis as he purchased it and I had it delivered to Vic for him.
i will chase up the disc with all the progress pics from scratch bare metal to the end.
it was a very original 1 owner orig miles and full books and receipts
How old was Lewis he seemed to be a young fella
Hope tomorrow all goes well Lewis RIP
