Apologies in advance if this is common knowledge but Bugger me if an upturned plastic milk crate is not the perfect height to sit on while swinging spanners under a Beetle engine lid馃お
Was just bustin my already rooted knees replacing the manifold boots on my 1600tp and tried sitting on one, Perfect. Now all it needs is some wheels馃槑

Get an old office chair, take the back off it and set the seat at it's lowest setting, ideal and has a padded seat and wheels

tar76 路

HappyDaze 路

Only 4......I just hope the milk-man NEVER looks in my shed.馃檮

I've had these for years now, but only because the backs were breaking off our computer chairs! Put them down in the shed and found them to be very handy.

a little bit off topic, but in my old place in Sydney i had a whole cellar wall filled with milk creats on their side , cable tied together, and bracketed to the wall ....... best wine rack EVER.... and it only cost about $10.

bugmaniaar 路

I did see a big milk crate robot hanging of an apartment building near Flemington race course in melbourne.
I was told this was a world wide thing???.
Any body know???

Drink the castor oil and you won't have to worry about the chair?馃お

Your original idea is the best - a milk crate.....but it needs to be casterated.

get some caster wheels from a hardware shop and bolt them to some falcadore seats and then you got the perfect work shop low rider seats for doing jobs like that

grumble 路

My seat got bogged in the back yard and Big Ted had to tow it out,it wasn't casterated.
