Yeah I was actually reading the post of the old cab before.. He used to live up the road from me in Carrara that's how I found out it was up for sale!! Was a very tidy car back in the day.. Saw a photo on his wall of when it was red/maroon!! So nice.. But I do love the "rat" look!!

thanks slam.. yeah i was pretty shocked when he put it up for sale... hence why i jumped at it... its coming along pretty well.. i was hoping to take it to wynnum on the weekend but unfortunately the shananigans the night before was too much to wake up that early.. although i did make it up there to check it out... there were some pretty cool rides there and pretty keen to bolt on a blower or some turbo's now.. but we'll have to wait and see..

PS.. absoloutely love el concreto.. 👍

Have you looked into registration for it on airbags? The car is still in QLD yeh?

it is still in qld atm but i am moving home soon which is in country NSW so should be able to get it on road there.. as i know bags are illegal in qld

I thought bags were legal now under the new COP in Qld?
Allegedly they were always legal but you needed to jump through hoops to get a blue plate.

I would be looking into that if I were you.

I spoke with an engineer here in QLD while I was getting some stuff on my 4x4 engineered and he stated that the new laws in NSW were the toughest in Australia now, so unless its already engineered you may have a hard time getting it passed.

From everything I can gather (and the word of my engineer) its also impossible to get bags mod plated in QLD for show purposes.
