Shipping and customer service
thebullfrog - December 19th, 2012 at 09:25 PM

Hey, this is sort of a rant and also to see if anyone else has had the same issues when shipping from america.

I usually get everything from the states through airkewld or through CIP1 (great shipping times once dispatched-that is normally a day or two), however, neither had the part i required. So i ordered the axles on the 5th from another major player over there and recieved the confirmation email as per standard response.

I paid for USPS priority mail international ( $63), as i needed it asap.

So here we are today and i still havnt recieved any tracking numbers or anything to say its even been sent. I have contacted them, no reply.

What can i do?

Jeremy

15 days and I havnt heard a peep or a hoot.

I ordered other parts days later and they arrived a week ago.

It should arrive shortly. USPS priority mail international may be priority for a mail service, but they are an economy service for parcels. If you wanted it faster you should have gone for a courier service such as DHL

They may have gone on xmas holiday, might be waiting till the new year:smilegrin:

Alternatively, the parts could be on back order. If you can't get in contact via email, maybe a brief international phone call is in order. Be sure to work out what time it is there when you ring

I'd be getting on the blower.

If you want the parts straight away use UPS, i just ordered a shipment from CB performance using USPS and do not expect to see them until the new year.

I found UPS slow last time i used it- i dont unerstand the difference between the two, also that there tracking was bad.

When did you place your order, mine is coming from the same place.

I would have thought that i would have received something other than an invoice, its been 15 days now after all.

vwo60 - December 20th, 2012 at 01:14 PM

UPS is a private shipping company and USPS is the post.

SebastienPeek - December 20th, 2012 at 01:25 PM

May I ask what parts you ordered and from whereabouts?

You may not see them until 2013 if they are yet to send you a tracking number and what not.
Others are also right in saying they may be on back order, however that is poor customer service with them not informing you of said issue.

Hopefully you get the parts soon!

sway away axles from CB performance

I'm more then fine if there has to be a back order etc, but i would have like to have known about it

SebastienPeek - December 20th, 2012 at 02:47 PM

You'd think someone like CB would be good when it comes to updating their customers with information they require...

Might just need to give them a buzz and kick them into gear.

It is as simple as a email to them to sort out the problem, best service i have had is from them.

vw54 - December 20th, 2012 at 05:12 PM

no not the shop on xmas break

the US postal service

matberry - December 20th, 2012 at 06:35 PM

Problem with CB, I've had them take over a week to answer emails, more than once too. I'd say the parts are on back order.
