Unfortunately my car is on hold at the moment and while I didn't get ant goodies for it I did get these cufflinks that I thought were pretty cool.

I got This cool door mat, it's blue just like my 56 bus

I got a cool dust collector for the trophy cabinet... a tin split beetle with roof rack, complete with vintage luggage and surfboard.



I got the girlfriend a new stereo to go into her NB... so guess means I also got the opportunity to turn some spanners on a Volksy !!!

2 bug xmas tree decorations

A 1:10 scale radio controlled slammed '51 oval with candy apple red paint and flames on the side. Very cool

Got a money box from mum and little sandblaster gun from my girlfriend's brother.

Got a very neat beetle model - 1:16 scale

me little sister got me this poster from the love bug movie - straight to the pool room

I got the same door mat, but also a leather wallet with VW embossed on it, as well as a cool book from the 80s about beetles resto, custom and off road. It talks about the very new and exciting New Beetle for the 90s which was only a concept at time of printing. It is out of print, and the mother in law tracked it down through her library. Can't make any jokes about that - solid effort I would say.

I also found a use for all of the VW matchbox cars I compulsively buy - with some Macgyver skills with a paper clip they become christmas tree decorations.

got the obligatory hat, keyring and mug, Oh and permission to send the Kombi off to the hot rod builder to finish all the bodywork. So much quicker to getting it on the road.
