Administrivia: Hotmail -> outlook.com

Hi there,

It appears that Microsoft will be starting to retire Hotmail.com starting in February, and moving Hotmail users to outlook.com in time.

Your Hotmail e-mail address will continue to work, but once migrated you will be viewing your mail in outlook.com. You can choose to migrate earlier, by going to "Options -> Upgrade to outlook.com" in Hotmail.

This has minimal impact here ... for now.

At least right now, you will not need to change your e-mail address here, but I would suggest that if you do start using Outlook.com full time that you do change once you've been given your new outlook.com e-mail address.

Please continue to monitor if our mails end up on the Junk mail folder, and continue to click "Not Junk Mail" when they end up there. This helps us all.

thanks,
Andrew
