i get the same thing, ive had 2 people leave business cards on the windsreen and once i had a guy drive after me on his motor bike and pulled me over to ask me if i wanted to sell mine, i said no then he asked me on a date, the bloody cheek of him!!................. no i didnt go on a date either, i could see what he really looked like under his helmet!!....... on his head that is
Ya can't blame them though, I've bought quite a few cars by just asking. The best deal I got was an Austin 1800 - I pulled up next to it in a supermarket carpark and asked the lady driver if she wanted to sell it. She said her husband had been thinking about it so I gave her my number. He rang me the next day and that weekend I picked it up for $150, and then drove it for the next 6 months!! :thumb
I pick up a few bargains like that when I see vw's in people's yards I always go in to ask waht theyre doing with them.

I have had it happen a few times.
I find though that little kids in the back of cars are the ones that love my car the most. They just smile and giggle and then tell the parents to
look at my car!!!
Must admit that i love the attention.
who doesn't???:sandrine
I bought my '69 knocking on someones door. right place at the right time. Couldn't be happier and I didn't even ask her out on a
date.....
I've had three people asking if I want to sell the sliding windows on the Kombi :o
