Sunday took the wench for a drive to the Kurri Kurri nostalgia festival / car show, only pre 77 American heritage cars on show, over 500 of them filled the streets in Kurri, some really nice, others really ho hum and others just plain fugly or stupid, one bucket had an engine sticking so far up in front of the windscreen I reckon that 75% of forward vision would be blocked , and there scattered amongst the American cars was Andy Roberts samba, a few beatles, a baja and various other VW's a couple of Anglia's etc, and they wouldn't let the wench in because it didn't comply with the selection criteria ! ( I tried as it was the best way to get a parking spot )

these torana's went and I'm sure there not american:crazy:

How about a Europa and a Eureka? I found out that there is a clause " vehicle of interest" but you need to get in early with the aplication to be accepted. Still a good show and good music. The Torana's get in because of the GMH title I'd say, I know a fella who was there with his Mustang and he was really pissed as he had pre registered but was lucky to get a park spot, looks like the organisers will be getting a few rocks thrown at them but that's pretty normal for people who put their time into these shows I guess, still, like I said, it was a great show with heaps of nice vehicles and good entertainment. :tu:
