Ive heard about a wizard roadster kit for beetles that was made in the 90,s and just wondering whats the story behind the kit ? Does anyone on avd have one ? And is there a supplier that makes them still? And what other kits have been made for a beetle ?
Hi
Ive seen a similar kit here but Wizard were a UK based company
there was a bloke down sydney way, I think he had about 3 , I think shop was caledl vw king.
aww okay did australia do any similar kits ? and i googled vw king and it only showed up with his workshop would be good to see one in the flesh
I don't if you will ever see one in the flesh, all the bog has most likely fallen off them and they have rusted away, they made an already impractical car more impractical
your lucky day.

Dunno if anyone on the Gold Coast remembers back in the early 90s there was the rental company that had a fleet of yellow convertible bugs and even a
couple of topless type 3s.
They had a few of those roadsters too

There are a heap of wizard roadster looking bugs getting around Perth, unsure if there was a business who had made them in W.A also since I used to see so many?

Yeah, I wore stove pipe pants and bell bottoms "back in the day" cool then but not so now , that's fashion for you. now, as long as I'm warm or cool (temp) and legal who cares.
