Something has happened to the server in the last few days where Apache hangs for no good reason. I thought it might be a module, and so disabled that, but it wasn't that.

So I'm bringing forward an upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04. As part of this upgrade, the forum will not be available for a little while as I want to do this as a relatively clean upgrade with fresh config files.

So pretty much for the next 24 hours or so, the forum will be up and down like the proverbial underwear. Please bear with me whilst I try to fix the issue properly rather than slap some bandaids on a festering problem.

So it turns out I can't upgrade in place from 10.04 to 12.04, so I am in the process of getting a new VPS in a new data center. This may take 24 hours. If you notice the forum down, please SMS me on 0451 057 580.

Okay, I've rebooted the box after the latest forced restart. If you notice any additional downtime on 11th of April, please SMS me on 0451 057 580. We should be on a new server tomorrow.
