i wonder if anyone has bought a full wiring harness for a beetle 68 on and where they got it from

I bought one quite a few years back,West Coast Metric Brand (from memory) got it home and it was a left hand drive. doh! Not sure who sell them on OZ.

i always restore the old wiring, my experiences with new have not been good.

There are plenty of wrecks about, you just need to ask around, and go looking.....just me maybe, but I'd look for og.

Steve,

I rewired a beetle after an engine fire and used a seconhand kombi harness
Plenty of length and extra wires to cater for any accessories ie engine temp, oil pressure gauges, etc.

its all good in a metro area but in north qld they are as rare as hens teeth sorry to say a bug ull buy down there for $100 bucks goes for $700 here its stupid looks like ill be making my own again bugger o well thanks guys

You can have it for 50 if you want it
It has some joins in it...
