How much would one ecpect to pay for a set of 40mm Kadrons? I have an opportunity to buy a pair for around $400...would need to get some single port manifolds and probably a new linkage. Is this a reasonable deal?

$400 isn't too bad depending on condition. They are about $800 + new from memory

Thanks Shaun - once again providing me with advice! I think Ill have to buy you a beer when I eventually cross paths with you...

Benny just make sure their complete and DON'T have to much shaft play and the throttle spray pipes are tight , and expect to have to put kits through them .
Plus as most kaddies are a few years old now and have been overtightened around the float bowls by now i would recomend taping some wet and dry paper to a nice flat piece of thick glass and faceing up the bowl lid and base and also the throttle body ceramic disc as both these areas are prone to leaks
