(Solved) Help with Mk1 Golf parts via VW Showdown?

Broke a clutch cable on my Mk 1 Golf this evening.

Can anyone supply one, new or used and bring to showdown?
My son lives in Sydney and is going to the showdown then coming up the coast to my place on Sunday.

If showdown is cancelled then any suggestions for Saturday morning parts suppliers for him to visit?

Showdown is drags that were supposed to be on today but have been cancelled.

It's a diesel but I wouldn't think that would make a difference with clutch cable.
