Best place in Brisbane for brake components?
Isola - August 6th, 2013 at 03:17 PM

Hi all,

I want to do front pads and rotors and rear drums and shoes on the L Bug and I am just wondering what the best place is to get all of it in one go. Does anyone sell a front and rear kit that is good quality?

Am I best off with just going to Mick Motors or are there some brake shops out there that sell some better quality products? I don't need performance gear as it's just a weekend driver, but I don't want to skimp either and run into disasters or dramas.

Thanks :)

I get my pads from GSL rally sport.

I think the are in QLD?

IMO the biggest thing is to get quality brands, preferably German, I've seen some junk rotors and drums from companies mentioned above

Then who do you recommend Matt?

Someone that sells ATE brake rotors, I know I do, but I'm not in Brissy. (maybe Roger at Southside VW)

Cheers Matty, sometimes you've got to look a bit further for the good stuff.

Thanks, Mat. I'll check with Southside VW about ATE rotors!
