They have an olive that i reckon would set my Boxster wheels off against the Martini Olive
It's great stuff. I've used it on one of my Beetles. Be forewarned though, it does not look like paint. It looks like rubber and be ready for eight
hundred and forty twelve people asking you what it is when they look at it. Make sure you use the clear coat over the top. If you don't it will fade.
Lots of people don't use the clear coat and then turn around and blame the product. They make a gloss and matte top coat as well as metalflake and
pearl. I personally use the gloss clear even over the metal top coat just to add that extra UV resistance to the color.
One other word of warning. Lots of people bitch and moan that plastidip damages their clear coat. These people are stupid people who blame the product
again for their ineptitude. Prep the surface with Spray and Wipe after you clean it with whatever you clean it with. Do not clean it or prep it with
prepsol or similar, you will change the way the plastidip reacts to the surface. Spray and Wipe ONLY. If you ever take it off, peel it with your
fingernails or fingers, so blades, scrapers, tools etc. Just your hands, then clean with WD40. Not carby clean, not degreaser. WD40 and a soft rag.
The WD40 turns the plastic dip into a liquid again but does not damage your paint. Also use WD40 for overspray clean up.
have fun
Oh one other thing. When you mask off the sides (if you do) remove tape while the plastidip is still wet. As it's rubber, it sticks over the tape and if you let it dry it will be attached to the part you want the dip to stay on, and it can be a real mongrel to get the tape off without the edges starting to lift.
look at the alsa corporation stuff also, its water based and self levels. You can get it scented so you can have you olive wheels and they can smell
like a pine forest!
I am painting my 4wd in it so it doesnt get so marked out bush.
