WELCOME TO MY WORLD
a comedy show by

Comedy based on his life: he told his first joke in chemistry class, but got no reaction. He uses poems and puns to point out people’s silly sides and tells jokes about juggling the books while he juggles. He uses magic that makes you wonder whether you saw what he did when he got rid of that empty beer bottle. (It was empty, so that’s OK.) And what he does with a rubber glove...
From strip club doormen in Kings Cross to street performers in Japan; from Poohah and Pakihah in New Zealand to having to hobble on crutches, to get away from the clutches of mosquitos in Port Moresby; from mad marijuana dealers in Rundall Mall in Adelaide to kids in primary school in Perth being fed psych drugs; the range and scope of topics that Gareth gets garrulous about leaves no doubt to his point of view. His credibility as a raconteur is vouchsafed by the fact that he has travelled far and seen much, been and done lots, lost and won hearts, homes and hero worships. His stories will keep you enthralled, maybe make you appalled, give you goose-bumps and take you astral tripping through his ripping yarns, but mostly, he will make you laugh, because that’s his job.
