Now I need to fill this!
pfillery - November 1st, 2013 at 07:57 AM
My latest aquisition. Now all I need to do is fill it.

Paint is good and flocking is exceptional. Will be left as it is (too good to restore).
All I need now are tools and a beetle early enough to fit it in

Now comes the hard (expensive) part. Watch out for repo parts heing sold as genuine too. Good luck.

My old house mate called last night and mentioned that he has a Hazet Phillips head screw driver he wanted to sell.

haha reminds me of that one x mas when I was a kid I got some multi spanner type tool for my bmx.
broke off instantly as soon as I push it with my finger on to the wheel nut. it was like metal made from foam

not to forget most of the tools suck for usage anyway.
I could never understand why people buy these when they are such crude tools and pay so much for them.
Apparently people collect stuff lol

I beg to differ.....
The multigrips, pliers and plug spanner from Dad's old spare wheel toolkit were a staple in the toolbox for 25 years. Used everytime the cars were
sercviced. After that much use the multigrips (best bloody pair I've ever used even better than sidchrome et al) had no signs of wear at all on them.
When someone in the VW club managed to convince (con) him into parting with it (for $200 mind you
) it was a real shame to lose the tools from the box. I have a feeling the other tools in the box had never been
used so would have been worth a lot more.
Oh well.....the benefit of hindsight.

Better stop using my multigrips if thats the price they can get.
